"As the former Principal I have great pleasure to write a testimonial on GDC Kottayam. This young institution which started in 2002 had a phenomenal growth during the last two decades. The college has always fulfilled the mission statement “Quest for excellence in dental education and service to humanity”. The institution has been always in the forefront by imparting specialty dental service to the poor and marginalized sections of society. This is in addition to the excellent academic environment where in addition to 40 BDS seats, MDS courses are offered in all the 9 dental specialties. Needless to mention the excellent infrastructure facilities , the erudite faculty and the excellent students.
This is the only dental College in the state which has been awarded "A" grade by the Kerala University of Health Sciences after stringent assessment. This is just a stepping stone for the various accreditations the institution will acquire in the future.
I have great faith in the faculty and students who toil day and night to upgrade the college to be at par with other dental institutions, both at the national and international level.
